Question:
- Is there a way to add strikethrough to the ribbon? or
- Change the shortcut key for it? or
- Any other ideas that would make it easier to quickly and continuously add strikethroughs to google doc? Maybe there is an add-on that can help?
Under help in docs, you can see all the keyboard shortcuts, but can't edit them. There is nothing in preferences either.
Rant:
I use strikethrough a bunch in google docs and the way it's set up is really slowing me down.
It's annoying that strikethrough isn't on the ribbon like bold, itaics, and underline. Those are one click while for strikethrough you have to go to the dropdown "format", then hover over "text", then find strikethrough mid-way through the list (with great precision if you have a tiny laptop).
The shortcut keys for it are a joke too.
Bold -> Ctrl + B
Italics -> Ctrl + I
Underline -> Ctrl + U
Strikethrough -> Alt + Shift + 5 -> WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE?
